Press release, September 4, 2006: The Pan-Hellenic Stroke Play tournament Men’s Category A was won by Evangelos Ginis for the second year in a row. The winner of the Ladies Category was Sophia Yeyardis.

The Pan-Hellenic Stroke Play tournament Men’s Category A was won by Evangelos Ginis for the second year in a row. The winner of the Ladies Category was Sophia Yeyardis. The tournament which lasted four days, began on Thursday, August 31st and took place at the Glyfada Golf Course. Sixty-six players from throughout Greece participated in the tournament. Attending the awards ceremony on Sunday, September 3rd were Petros Doukas, the President of the Hellenic Golf Federation, Dimitris Miliakos- President of the Agricultural Bank, Giorgos Velentzas-General Director of Duty Free Shops, Achilles Constankopoulos, Plutarhos Sakellaris-Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors , Pavlos Perratis-President of MPTY, Nikos Vernikos, and representing AEGEAN AIRLINES, the main sponsor of the tournament, Maria Kyriakou.
